From the moment I could hold a crayon, I was destined to become a surface designer. My childhood was filled with vibrant doodles that eventually blossomed into colorful, whimsical textile designs and captivating watercolor illustrations. Today, I create artwork and products that tell stories, resonate with audiences of all ages, and cater to a wide range of tastes.

My design expertise lies in surface design, where I specialize in creating collections of coordinating artwork and decorative prints. My signature style, known as "Freestyle Watercolor," is characterized by loose techniques, unique color combinations, bold brushstrokes, and imaginative depictions of flora, fauna, and fanciful creatures. Nestled in my She Shed on the serene Cape Cod National Seashore, I draw constant inspiration from the breathtaking natural surroundings.

With over 20 years of experience under the brand Jenny Faw Design, I have built a successful track record of creating and producing top-selling products for the infant, children, home, gift, tabletop, bath, and decor categories. My extensive archive of designs is all hand-painted, meticulously digitized, and ready for seamless production. I take pride in fostering strong, long-lasting relationships with my licensees and clients, many of whom I have collaborated with throughout my entire career.

In addition to my design work, I am deeply passionate about teaching. I offer weekly watercolor classes in Eastham, MA, and am an active member of the Eastham Painter’s Guild. Together with my partner Leslie, I lead Freestyle Watercolor Retreats as part of Jenny & Leslie Watercolor Workshops, inspiring creativity in beautiful locations.

Fun facts about me: I have a deep love for animals (including my 2 cats, 1 dog, and 4 chickens), an affinity for animal prints, and a unique history of living only on islands—NYC, Shelter Island, Rhode Island, and Cape Cod. My superpower is teaching and empowering others to unleash their creativity and discover the joy of creativity.
